I am analyzing Apple inc. for their marketing strategies. Apple is a widely known brand for their phones, iPods, computers and so much more. Apple has changed the world in so many ways with its technology, they have helped us advance into the future in strides. Some of apple's marketing and advertising strategies are the following, they use a lot of technology based advertising.
The 2012 summer olympics campaign was a big campaign for Apple. They advertised several ads during commercials to try and sell their new products. The ads portrayed people in everyday situations and how their products helped them. The ad got a lot of criticism as it made apples consumers look unintelligent. Another strategy was using celebrities to endorse their products. Having dancers and singers feature in their ads to try and appeal to the consumers more.
They target younger audiences and try to appeal to them as much as possible. The newer phones and other devices that coming out every year are mainly targeted toward the younger generation as they are the most likely to buy the products. This brand is definitely not focused because their ideas are all over the place and could be handled better but as far as their products go, they have amazing items. I think Apple is a great company with a great success rate but I feel as though they are trying a little to hard to achieve success. If they tried a little less maybe they could find a good strategy to stick with and help them out a little more.
